If you already own a domain name then it's a good idea to transfer your domain name to us in order to allow us to manage the domain and allow you take control through your control panel. If you have an issue with your domain name or you need to change some settings we will not be able to help if the domain is not registered with us.

First of all it is very important that your email address is correct with your current domain name provider as they may send you an email asking you to verify that you want to make the transfer, so please make sure you details are correct with them before proceeding.

To initiate the transfer, all you have to do is select 'I want to transfer my domain to Surehost.be' when ordering your webspace. It is also possible to transfer your domain to us without ordering webspace by clicking here.

Some domain names require you provide a transfer secret or EPP Code. If a transfer secret is required you will need to obtain this from your current domain name provider.
Once completed we have to wait for your current provider to release the domain name, once this is done it will take 24 to 72 hours for the domain to be transferred and you will receive an email from us once completed.
